Our Mission
​The League for Justice and Development (LJD), operating as the Migrant Justice and Development Coalition (MJDC), is dedicated to advancing equity, justice, and empowerment for Black and migrant communities across Canada. Our mission is to dismantle systemic barriers, promote access to justice, and foster sustainable development through advocacy, legal aid, education, and capacity-building programs. By addressing the root causes of social and economic inequalities, we aim to create a society where every individual, regardless of race or immigration status, can thrive with dignity, fairness, and opportunity. Together, we work to inspire systemic change and build resilient, inclusive communities.
